Hal Spacejock

I think that this book is trying to be The Stainless Steel Rat, but is not written well enough. The descriptions need to be richer, but not much longer, so that the reader can see the locations and people in their mind's-eye. These were altogether too sketchy, which was a great shame as several of the characters were worthy of more attention.

The set up and plot are well thought out, it is the execution of the writing that I feel is lacking.

All in all, an enjoyable read and I will probably read more of the series if I come across them.
