I am completely and utterly in love with this book. Likeable characters? Check. Plot twists? Check. Bizarre yet believeable? Check. Enjoyable narrative voice? Check, check, check.

Rockoholic in a nutshell: Jody goes to see her favourite band in concert. Kidnaps the hallucinating lead singer. And hides him in her garage. I've read a few books which put a bizarre twist on hide-and-seek, and this is the best by far. And, of course, there has to be a nice little relationship subplot. Squeeee! I think I just melted.

Everything turned out the way I wanted it to. Even though I didn't realise I wanted it at the time. (Plot twist alert.)

Sentimental, non-cheesy ending?
