The author creates an intriguing story that weaves Annajane and Mason's past and present in alternating chapters.The characters are realistic and have complex personalities that gives the story depth, and makes it that much more powerful and compelling. The characters are so much fun to get to know, their engaging personalities and fun loving southern ways make the reader feel like they can step into the story and live among them. The author does a wonderful job of describing the setting, the reader can visualize what it feels like to live in the small southern town. Spring Fever is alive and well in little ol' Passcoe, NC!
