Alright, I didn't completely finish this one. I got to the point where I couldn't take it anymore. There are a lot of great points made in this book, and it IS interesting to see the impact a fictional series can have on the world, outside of what is "expected" of fictional work. But I cannot stand politicians, and a lot of the writing is, of course, politically fueled (which you can tell from the title, and I thought I would be interested enough to stomach it, but I was not).

I'm sure it would be very helpful if you were to write a dissertation on how the Potter series effected the world... otherwise, if you are a leisurely reader like I am, don't bother.

Marizabeth At this point, I am irritated with the American reviews about how the Ministry of Magic is a commentary on the shortcomings of the Democratic system. Way to make it all about America, America. Ugh.
