Read from April 12 to 14, 2012, read count: 1

The second installment to the Beyonders trilogy, Brandon Mull does a fantastic job of improving and building up the world he so effortlessly created. Packed with imagination, detail and adventure, Seeds of Rebellion engages the reader in a magical world where the fight for freedom is the only way of survival. It is easy to fall in step with old and new characters and there's plenty of space for speculation of what each character's role is in their cause.
Personally, I am much more interested in seeing how the secondary characters develop from this story onwards, especially Ferrin and Nedwin. The prophetical ending did a good job of intriguing the reader for the final installment in the trilogy. Kudos to Mull for writing it superbly so that the ending felt like a true ending, not as an abrupt conclusion designed as a cliffhanger for, usually but not always, marketing purposes.

I look forward to reading the last book of the Beyonders trilogy and next spriing can't come quickly enough.
