Podem ler a opinião completa no Floresta de Livros.

This is one of those books that I read and then end up thinking "This is so portuguese", not in a depreciative way, but in the way the characters are just that recognizable.
Usually I don't like books that only criticize (directly or indirectly) our people, our society, and our way of life (I think that we portuguese like to do that way too much), but this book is a bit different.
It's still criticizing, but not in a way that turns me away.

The characters are diverse and most likely anyone will be able to empathyse with one character or another.
The prose is divided in two styles: an old one, and a more modern one. Getting into the old one is weird at first, but the reader gets used to it.

All in all, this was a fun book, with good characters, good plot and a clear sort-of satiric look into the portuguese people (or most of it).
An author to revisit in the future.
