I read this short (100 pg) collection of meditations for Easter this year. It was very valuable for me; I really appreciated the way Leahy thought about the sufferings of Jesus and his sin-bearing, including the way some of the curse for sin may have started to affect Jesus before the actual cross. You won't find any of the medical analysis of the physical sufferings of Jesus here, but you will find good food for your soul.
