The author goes to great length to show how a person can change their mind rapidly into an individual just as they were expected to. The ending to me was a little dreadful, and couldn??t fathom it well. Silences with emotions are such a greater action than speech. When speech is removed, the words become punishment as well as understanding. There wasn't a moment I wanted to put the book down. I wasn't too pleased with the outcome, although it's better than the expectant ending.
