it was amazing
bookshelves: non-fiction, lit-crit, first-reads
Read from April 21 to 25, 2012 — I own a copy

Is it just too, too geeky to get this excited about a festschrift? I won this book (which I had planned to buy) through the First Reads giveaways on Goodreads. The subtitle truly explains the premise of the book. The writers who are writing about Robert B. Parker include Ace Atkins (who has been chosen to continue the series), Dennis Lehane, Lawrence Block, Loren D. EstelMan, S.J. Rozan (writing about Susan, of course), and Reed Farrel Coleman. Some discuss setting, some food, some dialogue, some sense of humor, some moral code and alot more. All are excellent. If you like Parker's writing - READ THIS! Enjoy.
