I enjoyed the book and its premise, as well as some great references to history, literature, art and theology. The idea to have a number of pictures of people, places and artwork referred to in the book end-noted and posted on a website was a good one. I don't want to give too much away, but I felt a little less connected to the characters in this book than the author's previous book (which was so amazing he couldn't have matched it). It also felt a little too influenced by The DaVinci Code and similar books. Overall though, these are minor issues, and it was still a very good book.
