I thought the book was well written and the characters believable, but the storyline did not go to deep or hold my attention. Meaning I did not feel like I couldn't put the book down or any great deal of suspense. It was interesting enough, and moved forward but it seemed more like a light read and I felt much more could have been done with the concept.
Marcelo was interesting, but I didn't feel quite like I was inside the mind of an aspergers child. For that, I might recommend: The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time by Mark Haddon.
It was a short, very easy read. I wouldn't expect anything super deep from it either, but I felt more of the characters syndrom issues.
