This was one of those books that really grabs your attention with its intriguing premise but occasionally some books don't always live to expectation with Seers being one of them. A story that has no real strong power and suffers from lacking the wow factor. Kate Benett has lost her parents to a car accident and life for her and her smaller sisters has been tough. Her grandparents have moved with them in hopes of gathering together in this time of emotional pain. Kate having been in the car disaster with her parents was a survivor but she gained the power of a Seer: the power to see auras of emotions that come off people. Well until recently considering a new boy at her high school arrives one day and his aura is a silver color that's static and doesn't ever change. Suspecting Patrick O' Donnell the new exchange student is hiding something she tries to look around what is going on around him although most of the time is doesn't go well for Kate considering her boyfriend Aaron keeps growing suspicious with Kate's interest with Patrick. His worry is not unfounded since Kate starts to realize she's very attracted to Patrick and him with her. Patrick seeking her trust reveals that he knows she's a Seer and has come to help her protect herself from a horde of incoming demons which possses black auras. This a big problem since demons find Seers as very rare people to have in their control. Her life she ws is about to get incredibly dangerous she knows is about to get incredibly dangerous.

Well, Seers wasn't all bad, finally toward the end where events unfolded it started to get interesting! Seers had also a strong foundation in character development. There are some nice family ties to witness and fun frienships. Even so the momentum of the story heavily relies on elements not grounded in the Paranormal. Most of the time it hardly makes you want to keep reading with gusto of excitement which add it up to being that the Paranormal integrated is just not that intriguing. Auras are just it. Seers' powers are not more than that in this book and the demons are just as unimpressive.

Not a strong novel in terms of having a huge interesting spin. Wouldn't recommend for Paranormal Romance fans since the elements aren't so amazing.
Overall: Not good, Not bad read
Genre: Paranormal, Young Adult
