This was the book I was taught from and it's the bee's knees, the bee all end all, it's positively buzzing with useful information...these bee jokes doing anything for you?

Has twelve chapters covering:

Bee biology, colony requirements, beekeeping basics, nectar and pollen plants, supplementary feeding, spring management, honey harvesting, marketing crops (pollen, propolis, royal jelly, bee venom), fall and winter management, queen management, and honey bee health (disease, anomalies, pesticides, mites and other pests).

Every other bee book I own is just for fun. This is pretty much the only book I'll ever really need.
