Thank you to Kaitlyn Davis and the Read It & Reap Review for the opportunity to read this book.

When I first started reading this book I felt like I was reading fanfic of Twilight. We have a new girl at school, a group of misfits that are vampires and a guy friend (protector) who loves her but she only feels like friends with him. It all felt like Twilight.

Then about halfway through the book it took a turn and became it's own story with a new mythology of how vampires came to be. YA is not something I typically enjoy reading but I found this one entertaining.

Kira is an anomaly, in fact, she's one of a kind. I'm very curious where the storyline is going and I look forward to reading the next one. There is so much potential for this series and I hope the author can carry it forward.

I received a copy of this book from the author in exchange for an honest review.

Alexia8A i agree, it resembled twilight. I think the only difference is the eyes and the whole conduit thing
