Fun quick read that hit all the buttons for me in comic-book style novels. (No pictures, just words I want to be sure to keep clear.)

I liked the characters and their motivations. I enjoyed watching their relationships grown and develop. That was well written.

I think it was the author of Harry Dresden who said it was his job to beat him up every book and Jim Bernheimer kept jerking the carpet out from under the protagonist in Confessions of a D-List Supervillain really well. It was a lot of fun to watch him suffer lol.
