So far, I am absolutely loving this book. While I don't know if I agree with /everything/ Cain offers, she is as fair as she is critical in her treatment of the assumptions, institutions, practices, and attitudes she addresses.

I appreciate her approach, the conversation she offers in these pages, and her willingness to not only allow but invite contradiction and paradox in her categorization of behavior. No strict divisions here: just an honest will to understand and appreciate how we humans, of varying temperaments, work, react, and behave.

And--wow!--do I see myself in so many of her descriptions! Feel complete sympathy, and my own rising anxiety, in her descriptions of extrovert-dominant situations! Marvelously done, Ms. Cain. Recommended reading for everyone I know--introverts and extroverts alike.
