Not as groundbreaking as Good to Great or Built to Last, but this proves a useful companion to Collins' earlier works, including How the Might Fall. To be fair, this one was never going to be as inspiring and exciting as Good to Great, if only because in researching how companies become great in turbulent times MUST lead to some less-than-thrilling discoveries, stuff like be disciplined and "take baby steps", be conservative with cash and keep analyzing the data. This is, in many respects, a much more practical book than his first two. Still well worth the read.
