bookshelves: did-not-finish

I hate this book so much I can't even give it one stare. The description and the begining of the book seemed exciting at first but after a few chapters I couldn't read it anymore. I did like Emily because I could see a bit of myself in her, but every thing else was terrible. None of the girl characters acted like girls. Maybe because this book was written by a guy. Not to be mean but I think female writers can write in the perspective of a guy and have a good story, but a male writer can not write in the perspective of a girl and have a good story. Emily's stepsister Dawn kept calling her and everyone else dude. I don't know a single girl who calls someone else dude. And Emily's best friend Megan was a terrible person. She never got over her hatred of the popular people even though they weren't bothering her in the chapters I read. Then her coments of the othet Emily's death were really harsh and uncalled for. And the thing that pissed me off the most about Megan was how rude she was to Emily even though she is her only friend, and how unsupportive she was when Emily told her something was wrong!!!!!! Then there is the relationship between Emily and Patrick. You can tell they were going to be a werewolf couple but the was so little interaction between them I was afraid that Jeff was just going to put them in a room together and they would just fall in love. I love romance books but I makes me so angery when two people just fall in love after just one meeting without any interaction or mysterious dates.
Bottem line this book was just terrible.
