It's ok. Jefferson didn't like the fact that Jesus was written in the New Testament as being the Son of God, but he thought that Jesus was a good teacher and said some smart things, so Jefferson took a blank book and cut and pasted what Jesus said, omitting anything that dealt with Jesus' divinity.

On one hand, it's nice to have what Jesus said and taught all together, but on the other, it's a bit presumptuous to think that anyone can make the Bible better. I lean more towards presumption than how nice to have all of Jesus' words in one spot.

Yeah, no, it was too jumpy with just what he said and the stories with the God-as-Father omitted. I tried, I really did. The commentary by the editor didn't help either.
