The book Moneyball by Michael Lewis probably the most interesting book about business youll ever read whether you are a baseball fan or not.The reason why Moneyball is such a good book is because Michael Lewis takes an interesting story with uninteresting and boring details and turns it into a #1 National Bestseller. In fact, it was such a good book, that it was recently made into a movie. Another reason why this book is so interesting is because of the inspiration it provides to anybody trying to work their way up, whether it be in a higher job position or to become a starter on their sports team. The story is about Billy Beane and how he is able to take an Oakland Athletics baseball team who has one of the lowest payrolls in baseball, and is able to compete with teams like the Boston Red Sox and New York Yankees who have payrolls over $163 million. The way he is able to do this is by developing a new way of analyzing stats called saber-metrics. (To understand this concept you would have to read the book.)This book really is about "the art of winning an unfair game."
