I have always loved the original movie version of this story. So when someone suggested I give the book a try, I said sure. The movie is a good adaptation but like always the book is even better. While reading, I could see and hear bits of the film.

The deadpan style of telling the story makes the book very funny at times. The action is perfect as well.A great fun and quick read.(One way to tell how much I like a book is how fast I read it.In this time of so many distractions, the faster I read a book ,the more I like it.I read this book in less than a day.)

If you are a fan of the movie, either the original(my favorite)or the remake(which I still need to see), you should love this book.Even if you haven't seen either movie but you are a fan of westerns, you will still like this book.
