This was possibly the wildest Kinsey Millhone story yet. . . . Grafton's imagination really took off, and there were times I really wondered whether Kinsey was going to make it out alive (even though I already have the next book...). Lots of vivid SoCal imagery. As one reviewer said, "There are moments when the tension becomes so unbearable that you are tempted to skip paragraphs out of self-preservation." Fun!!!
