really liked it

As much as I love to read, this is actually my first Stephen King novel. I don’t really like things that are scary but our book club chose it and I thought it looked interesting. The title date is the day of JFK’s shooting and the story is of a man who finds a time travel bubble. He decides to go back in time and save JFK and alter history. The bubble does not allow the traveler to pick a time to return to but always goes back to the same day. If the traveler returns to the past, everything is then reset. The book is over 800 pages and it took a while to really get into the story. King is a great story teller and kept it interesting. I would suggest this book to anyone who loves a good story or who is already a King fan. This book would also be a good vacation read (but only on an e-book version, the hard back is a pretty big book to carry around).
