it was amazing
bookshelves: strong-male-character, realistic-fiction, philosophy, coming-of-age, anger

Tod, a self-confessed bully and his friends get caught vandalizing school property. Tod's punishment is detention and writing in a notebook under the watch of guidance counselor Mrs. Woodrow. At first he doesn't say much of substance, but he soon warms up to the idea of writing and begins to reveal some secrets. The story is well written, with great characters, but the pace is a bit slow.
