Read from April 10 to 11, 2012 — I own a copy

This is my first introduction into the writings of Christopher Moore. What a book to chose. This book was magnificent to my mind. The research that was conducted. The study of Art that was obviously done and careful choosing of fine art to be included within the novel. The careful weaving of mythology with fact with history that became the prose. The selection of the color Blue. All these facts led to a complete satisfying novel that kept me turning pages long into the early hours.

Then, to further entice my literary mindset, glimpses into the lives of the famous men and women found in history...I was hooked.

The book is Sacre Bleu or Sacred Blue. The book is about Blue. For me to say more would give too much away. This is an adult book for persons loving historical fiction and mythology. I will be looking for Mr. Moore's past novels and look forward to the future novels. A truly excellent read.
