I own a copy, read count: 3

Having been raised by wild hippies myself, I completely identified with Gilman's life story, aptly subtitled "tales of growing up groovy and clueless" had me laughing out loud and commiserating with a fellow conflicted feminist who just wants to rock out a tutu & tiara combo. From being able to laugh at yourself to identifying the perfect partner in crime, to coming to figuring out who you are and what it all means along the way, reading this book has a knack for putting it all into perspective.

I really, seriously, love this book, it's one of the few that I've read more than once. I highly recommend this fun, effortless read to anyone who can appreciate a life filled with a series of rather flustered extremely awkward moments, but that seem to all work out for the best in the end.
