I feel weird rating the constitution. Just saying.

I had never actually gone through and read the dang thing, so in an effort to expand upon my education (and to be truthful, to get through some books I haven't read and are languishing on my shelves) I decided to delve into it. First of all it's amazing to me how lose our current government is with some of these principles. Undoubtedly the framers wrote the thing to be a little ambiguous, but because power is persuasive people bend the understanding to their own needs.

Second the commentaries were bland and all said the same thing. Only Warren Burger was given any space (or was the only one who was willing to write more than 5 pages). Get another edition if you plan on reading commentaries, but please get another edition and read the dang thing.
