Like another reviewer, this was one of my first ebooks and first of purchased with a gay romance angle. I won't lie, the cover really threw me off. Wasn't fond of the colors or the image and almost didn't buy it.

I liked the blurb enough that I went ahead and bought it.

Rather glad I did.

Sure, it's short, I mean who wouldn't want more between Victor and Jacob? They were so hot! I loved Victor's voice and his unique psychic ability was something I hadn't encountered before as far as psychics were concerned.

I found it to be an enjoyable read. The world was fascinating, Victor was compelling to me as a character, and the plot had me guessing. I couldn't puzzle out what was happening and all the way to the end I was on the edge trying to figure it out. I didn't find that to be a problem because I kept turning the pages.

Enjoyable and I keep promising myself I'll read more in the series. Now that I've re-discovered this book, I think I'll do just that.
