Very satisfying ending to this second trilogy. High adventure (and the story arcs did finally come together to make sense, mostly) with love, drama, and deep friendship. I was very moved by the way Hobb re-connected the story thread of Fitz giving up some memories to the dragon (from book 3 of first trilogy). I felt pretty good about the way the Fool and Fitz's relationship got worked out (except for one part - see spoiler below). And there was enough of a denouement that I didn't feel cheated out of the interesting complications of wrapping up a story.
