Have you ever been to Hawii? Well 14 year old Adam decided to get away from the ever-watchful eye of he Navy Lieuteniant father and go fishing in Pearl Harbor with his buddies. Who knew that very day the Japanese would fly over Honolulu, Hawii and attack the U.S Navy in the very place Adam and his buddies were fishing.
After the attack, Adam was pulled to safty and was mistaken for a sailor and taken into the carnage of the attack. He saw his fathers ship "The Arizona" sink and saw other frightening things. Adam made his way home to find the rest of the family safe, and he helped them cope with the tragedy. He was with his family when president Theodore Roosevelt declared war on Japan and the U.S. was now in War World I.I.
