Okay - so I threw in the second star because for a long time now I've had unanswered questions from the movies. What's up with Annakin's immaculate conception? Which Jedi commissioned the clone army and why? And what was up with that Darth Plagueis story told in the opera house? Where did Darth Maul come from? Always two there are?

Clearly if you didn't have these questions, do not even pick up this book. And, even if you do, frankly, I liked it better not knowing those answers (although the book does answer them).

Sigh, sometimes being a Star Wars fan is tough...

It is not so much I don't like them as they wound up feeling more ordinary than the extraordinary imaginings that I had...
