A well-crafted, beautifully told story with a lot of imagination and heart.

Marketed as an "adult fairy tale", Stardust takes familiar fairy tale tropes and gives them the Neil Gaiman treatment. Nicely paced with some wonderfully likable characters, gorgeous world building and an inventive plot. I especially loved the dynamic between Tristran and his "star".

In a word? Magical.
