Cute, fun, and light-hearted...3 words I would use to describe this book. The heroine is funny, trying to defy what is expected of her, and the hero is a rake, a little rough around the edges. So of course they fall for each other and of course they can't communicate their feelings! The story moved along nicely, with a few twists and turns that were unexpected, though the outcomes were predictable.

The only thing that bothered me was that the first half of the book is that Hugo was always mentioning how Finn is wearing a see through top. I understand that they didn't make bras back then, but seriously? I could have done without the see through wet t-shirt descriptions ALL THE TIME! Haha! Give the girl some modesty, she's already wearing skin tight breeches!

Anyway a fun historical romance coming from one of my favorite authors!
