it was amazing

I had seen this book somewhere on a list of "must reads", and thought I'd give it a try. I wasn't really expecting a whole lot because frankly, I've done quite a bit of the Stephen King genre, and it no longer gets my attention but, WOW! Was I wrong! Enthralled, engrossed, intrigued.....whatever you want to call it...I was blown away! A great; "cop" story, "buddy" adventure, "horror", "science fiction" - however you classify it, it is all that and more. A dash of romance, a healthy pinch of comic relief, the story is a brew of perfection(enough with the recipe analogies already). Chang & Clauser are a classic "yin & yang" pairing. There is plenty of meat left on the bone here as well. Hopefully Sigler brings them back. The short chapters make it a perfect beach or night time read. Sigler does a masterful job here, and yes, if I had one, I would add it to my list of "must reads". Right at the top. Anyone looking for a summer read, this is the one!
