Whether we like it or not, Google has changed the way we live. Few corporations have matched Google's profound impact ... and fewer have reached it's immense power. In nearly a decade, Google achieved a meteoric rise to internet supremacy. Powered by brilliant technology and an equally brilliant business model Google has dominated nearly every domain it set foot in ... and those are many. How did it all happen? What powers all the innovation? Why doesn't it happen more often? How does the company operate on the inside? Can Google be trusted? This book is the closest one gets to answering these questions among others. All through its history, Google has been excessively secretive. This is perhaps the only detailed history of the company at this level of depth. All said, this is one of the most interesting books I read this year and has been an eye opener in many ways.
