Poppy is engaged to Magnus but loses her priceless, family heirloom engagement ring. At the same time she has her phone stolen, but then finds one in a bin. And so her life becomes entwined with that of Sam Roxton, as the phone belonged to his now-absent PA.

As Poppy tries to locate the missing ring and save face before Magnus’s family, whom she is convinced believe her to be inferior, she also becomes a sort of stand-in PA for Sam, and is shocked at his abrupt approach to his colleagues.
All manner of chaos ensues when she starts answering emails on his behalf, but in the end Sam and Poppy learn a lot from each other.

Quite enjoyed this light-hearted romance. I absolutely loved Twenties Girl by Sophie Kinsella and don’t think this book is as good as that one, but it’s still definitely worth a read.
