The Last Guardian by Eoin Colfer

Read from January 05 to 06, 2013

I can't believe that this is the last book of the Artemis Fowl Series. I grew up reading this, I sacrificed my sleep reading Time Paradox and got Atlantis Complex confiscated by my mum who was worried about me not studying for my mid-years.

I once recalled Colfer saying that he will never stop writing Artemis Fowl's story unless he couldn't write anymore or ran out of ideas. While this made me very happy at the time, only now, when the series is ending, do I realise that all good things must come to an end.

So excited to read this book and I hope that it will be a good enough book to bring a close to this amazing series.

UPDATE: 6/01/13

I've finally finished it! The last book of every series that I started in primary school.

I'm not sure how many other readers out there feel the same way as me but I just want to say that I'll miss Arty. He made my life interesting by giving me a world where I can escape into. All of us who grew up with him now have to grow up ourselves and although we won't forget Arty, we'll all have to move on with our lives.

Good Bye Arty. You'll have a place in my heart forever.

Daniela-Goddess of Reading Yeah, same here, I remember he said that too. But you're right, all good things must come to an end...

Rachel my mom did something like that too. She made me stop going to the library till I finished quarter in college.
