Summary: This story is a picture book about a dog named daisy and her favorite toy ball. Daisy loves this ball very much and takes it everywhere with her until something very bad happens.

Critique: This story is not written according to the standards because the book does not have any text it is strictly a picture book. The illustrations are amazing. I really love the use of color and shading.
The illustrations are very easy to fallow and your are able to infer what is happening threw the story and there really is not a need for text the pictures tell the whole thing and they do it very well.

Response: I really liked this book because there was no text in the story. It give the reader a chance to infer what they believe is going on in the story and lets them use their imagination. I would defiantly have this book in my classroom library and share it with my class as a read aloud and class discussion piece.
