A tale about a boy who spins clouds into cloth, but for only two things: a hat for his head in the summer, and a scarf for his neck in the winter. He uses clouds from morning, noon, and evening for different colors. When the greedy king sees the cloth, the boy's work doubles and the clouds disappear.

The illustrations in this book are fantastic even if the boy's summer hat looks pretty ridiculous :). Loads of repetition make this a good read for ELLs. This is a good journal or conversation starter for students to think about things they've bought or asked for that they really don't need.
