This was one of those I got for free off Amazon two months back and I finally got around to reading it. I enjoyed it. I think the author really got Georgiana's voice and timidity and I enjoyed seeing her relationship with Anne grow and flourish as well. And, it goes without saying that the special moments glimpsed between Elizabeth and her new husband (for this takes place about a year after they wed) was just well done. That said, I didn't know this was the first of a two part series until I finished and read the author's note and I really have no desire to read the second one. This ended just perfectly as far as I am concerned and I have no desire to see them through another war. But, like I said, I really enjoyed this and for anyone looking for GOOD P&P sequels and such, this is one of the better ones I've read.
