In this story, the super volcano in Yellowstone erupts causing extreme devastation, destruction, and loss of lives. There is a lot of description in regards to the volcano as it erupts. No one really knows what is going on or what to make of things. It is realistic and society as they know it has ceased to exist. Things get very brutal as people are fighting for any means to survive. It will cause you to think, "what if"? Anyone remember the book "One Second After"? I only gave it 4 stars because I thought some of the situations could have been written a little differently. The end of the book reveals the title of the next book so we know this is going to be a series. Not for the faint of heart.
