So this is a story about a man who goes back in time to prevent the JFK assassination. Of course to be a book by Stephen King there have to be lots of other story lines. I think the main reason he was convinced to go back in the first place was something different. It was about the murder of a family by the father and then his suicide. He knew the one survivor and thought he could change that. I haven't read a Stephen King book in years but I used to read all his books. I forgot what a good writer he is and how it grabs your interest right from the first page. One thing I didn't forget was the length of his books. Personally I think he could have downsized. But since I'm not a writer what do I know. All in all I'm really glad I read this current book.
