Since I love to eat and consider myself a "foodie," leave it to me to wonder where all our good comes from in the USA. Author informs about what's on the average American table (if anything these days). Her first undercover work was in the California valley fields, in Greenfield, near where my mother lived, she was married to a garlic plant worker. The second episode was about working at Walmart -- I loved the part about the bird flying around in the store and pecking away at the lettuce, and that nobody in management much cared. The third part was Applebee's which I swore off of last summer,
now I understand why -- they have nothing fresh in the place. Add this to your list of American big business food exposes.
