I'm not sure about my 5 star rating (maybe more like a 4.5), but I have to say that I enjoyed the book. It was a page-turner with just enough action, mystery, and suspense to keep me hooked. I *wanted* to find out what happened to the characters, especially Sage. I found it very interesting in the author's note that this story started, not with the idea of the main plot, but with the idea of the character, who is an amalgamation of real people the author knew. There were a few places where some of the actions seemed out of character, but I was willing to overlook these for the sake of the story.
