really liked it
bookshelves: supernatural-fantasy

I loved Anna Dressed in Blood. Anna is one of the most spectacular characters developed in recent books. Along those same lines, Cas and Thomas are truly remarkable. While I didn't think Girl of Nightmares was quite as strong as Anna Dressed in Blood, it was a good companion novel that delved a little deeper into the mystery of the ghosts Cas has sent on, his father's backstory, and the secret society that contributed to Cas' ability.

The characters from the first book have really grown and become even better in this follow up novel. I have to say, Thomas is becoming one of my favorites in this series. This could be the end or just the beginning the way this story flowed. If it's the end, I'm ok with that because I think the resolution is there. If it's just the beginning, I'm ok with that too because I think the story could go in so many different directions based on what came out of this one.
