I just finished the Red Book and frankly I could not put it down. Copaken Kogan does an excellent job of describing the complexities of being an educated woman from my generation (born in the late 60s) who wants it all. Using the lenses of four different women she is able to show the many different challenges that women face and the myth of a perfect life. This book with its feminist stance of always being incomplete continued to remind me of myself and my own experiences and choices. The author's voice reflects the strength of someone who has lived with all of life's twists and turns! Brava, brava!

Reading Progress

05/01/2012 "I just officially starting reading this yesterday and I am already a third through- if I didn't have to work I would be completely finished I am sure. So well written, so much I can identify with- I highly recommend and will read more tonight!"
