it was amazing

The bedside book of the Sixties' generation. Compelling, hilarious autobiography of a man who has had enormous (sometimes dubious) influence over his generation. Long after the excitement of the Stones' live act becomes memory, I suspect Keith Richards' musical influence will endure. He was one of a handful of young British musicians in the 1960s who delved into the obscurity of many elderly US Blues acts, revived them, reinterpreted them, rescued them from oblivion and threw them back at the world with interest.
