A family of international thieves are looking for a rare bottle of wine, supposedly containing pink diamonds. The bottle of wine belongs to the Di Lucas and the leader of the gang is none other than Noah Di Lucas' mother. Noah was raised by his paternal grandmother. He did not even get a glimpse of his mother until he was nineteen. At that time, he also met his ex-lover Penelope, who is also the only girl he has ever loved. Now nine years later, Penelope has come to Noah's hometown of Bella Terra to meet with the father she has never known, but she is not the only new arrival. The thieves are also in town. As things heat up between Noah and Penelope, he knows that his time is growing short. His mother has forced him to wear a collar that will detonate in eight days, unless he finds the bottle of wine before then. However, his grandfather hid the bottle before his death and Noah is having trouble finding it. Will Noah find the bottle in time, or is his life and his romance with Penelope doomed?

An exhilarating read, BETRAYED is a sensual, suspense-filled story that will capture your interest from the very first page and not let go until the very satisfying ending. A wonderful conclusion to a spectacular series and a definite keeper!
