I really liked the writing! Very clean, readable, logical and well-paced! The action moves along at a clip while the descriptive parts and dialogue blend together swimmingly. I could not put it down and read the story in one sitting, which is rare for me.

Heroine is surrounded by a cast of eccentric supporting characters and finds herself drawn into a series of baffling adventures, culminating in encounters with not only one, but two different killers! Of course, she meets a dishy action hero who may or may not be the man of her dreams...

In order to include recipes into this book, the heroine has to be involved with food: she can eat like a stevedore and she gets the job of food critic which gives her entrees into all sorts of interesting venues. I am not going to try the recipes but they are fun to read.

Well done, this author has what it takes to keep me entertained. I want to see more!
