This book happens over a period of just 24 hours. Hadley misses the plane that is to take her to her father's remarriage (which she is not too thrilled about.) But, this causes her to take a later plane on which she meets Oliver. So, what is the statistical probability that they will fall in love at first sight? Read the book to find out. The only thing that I didn't care for so much is that the book is rather creakingly written in the present, rather than the past tense, as is more usual.

I think I would prefer:
"She readjusted the backpack on her lap ... a few of her things tumbled to the floor. Hadley reached for the ..."
